About the Service
The Enfield Evening Advice Service provides free initial legal advice and guidance by qualified lawyers. The service is designed to help people understand their legal position, identify possible options and consider practical next steps.
The service is provided by telephone appointment only. It does not operate as a drop-in service.
How the Service Operates
Appointments are usually held fortnightly on Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.

What the Service Provides
The service provides initial legal advice only. It may help you understand your position, identify relevant issues and consider what steps you may be able to take.
Where appropriate, we may explain how you can complete relevant forms, but we do not complete forms on your behalf through this service.
What the Service Does Not Provide
The service does not provide ongoing casework or representation and does not automatically mean that OJN Solicitors will take over conduct of your case.
We do not advise on social housing matters, including homelessness applications, housing allocations, bidding, transfers, suitability of accommodation or welfare benefits and DWP matters.
OUR HISTORY
Over 17 Years of Community Advice
The service began in 2009 following the closure of the former Enfield Law Centre. OJN Solicitors stepped in to help keep free legal advice available to local residents.
Since then, the firm has continued to support access to justice by helping people who may otherwise struggle to obtain early legal guidance.
